9/1/2026

Irish Community Coffee morning at the Consulate

The next Irish Community Coffee morning at the Consulate, hosted by the IWN, will take place on Friday, January 30 at 10am to 12 noon and it will celebrate St. Brigid's Day on February 1.

As we did last year, in recognition of St. Brigid's Day, we are inviting community members (women or men) to share something about an inspirational Irish woman you admire and respect.

It could be a short reading of something written by a woman writer or maybe a story about a woman in your family, from current affairs or history.

You will have 3 to 5 minutes to present about the woman you admire and why.

If you wish to participate, please register your attendance via the link below and also email us so we make sure we have you registered on our list of participants. Depending on the interest, we may not be able to have everyone present so please register and we will confirm closer to the day.

Space is limited so everyone has to register to attend:

Thanks to Deirdre Keohane and Brigid Festival Vancouver for permission to use Deirdre's wonderful painting of Brigid in our graphic.

We hope to see many of you there on January 30 - whether as an observer or a presenter.
