Monthly Coffee Morning - Fri May 8th

Join the Irish Women's Network of BC for a cuppa on Friday, May 8th from 10am-12pm at the Irish Consulate, 1300-1095 West Pender Street, Vancouver.

All members of the Irish community are welcome to drop by for a cuppa and some homemade goodies, reconnect with old friends or make some new ones!

Location is easily accessible by transit (Burrard Skytrain Station or bus #2, #19 or #22)

Soda Bread Bake-Off - Fri Mar 6th

In celebration of Irish Heritage Month, the Irish Women's Network will be hosting the 3rd annual Irish Soda Bread Bake-Off at the March coffee morning.

When: Friday, March 6th, 10am-12pm

Where: Consulate General of Ireland, 1095 W Pender St, #1300, Vancouver

Easily accessible by transit: (Burrard Skytrain Station or Bus #2, #19, #22)

Which is best - brown soda bread or white soda bread with currants? Think your mother or granny's recipe is the best?? Want to showcase your gluten-free or vegan version?

You do not have to bake to attend - all are welcome to join and be a taster, but you must register to attend. If you are a baker and want to enter your soda bread, go to the Irish in BC events page and follow the instructions.

Entertainment will be provided by storyteller Philomena Jordan and fiddler Mary Brunner.
