Happy New Year to you all. We hope you had a lovely time over the holiday season.
Close to 100 people attended the lunch on December 14 and based on the craic on the day and the feedback we have received, it was enjoyed by all. Sincere thanks to the Pinnacle and staff for a wonderful meal and service, to Michael and Mary for the great music and to all the volunteers for making sure things ran smoothly. Thanks to generous donors, 15 guests won door prizes and 2 lucky people won $170 each from the 50/50 draw.
We think a highlight this year was the addition of the photo booth, which provided on the spot fun photos and wonderful memories. A HUGE thank-you to Josie and Darren from Langis Event Media for providing the photo booth and photos, at a special reduced rate. Josie hails from Ballyboughal, Co. Dublin and was delighted to be part of this special community gathering.
While you all received a personal copy of the photo booth shots on the day, you can also view them here. The regular photos are available for viewing here.
To download and save any of the photos, just click on the little arrow in the right hand corner of the photo and save to your device.
We are always interested in feedback to make the lunch better each year so if you have any suggestions or comments, please let us know.
And of course, the lunch would not be possible without the support of the Consulate General of Ireland and the ESP grant from the Government of Ireland so a big thank you to Consul General Cathy Geagan and the Consulate staff for all their help and support.
Mark your calendar for Thursday, December 12 2024 and see you at the next seniors lunch, if not before!
Regards
Eilis, Geraldine and Aideen
